(\u201cAena\u201d), with registered office in Madrid at Calle Peon\u00edas, 12 and tax identification number A86212420, the world's leading airport operator in terms of passenger volume, guest experience, capacity and professional team, is holding, through its airports\u2019 general sales and property department, the 2nd edition of its international travel retail awards: The Enjoy Aena Awards.<\/p><p><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/p><p>With these awards, Aena, which currently manages 64 airports worldwide and hosts more than 100 retail operators, aims to:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Recognise the excellence<\/strong> of the retail brands that operate in Aena\u2019s airports and that help provide travellers the best possible experience.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>Thank and publicly recognise<\/strong> the commercial efforts and hard work of the retail operators in its airports by awarding them the internationally prestigious Aena Seal of Approval, a worldwide benchmark in the sector.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>Recognise the best Aena airport<\/strong> as a model of retail offering that helps provide passengers the best possible experience.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>Showcase<\/strong> the companies and professionals who support the sector and whose work has a significant impact on the airport retail industry.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Requirements <\/strong><\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">All retailers (dining, services, retail shops, car hire and advertising operators) operating in Aena may apply for the 3rd edition of the Enjoy Aena Awards, in any of categories 1-11, making their candidacy official by submitting their application in the format and by the deadline indicated in the Legal Terms and Conditions. Candidates must apply as a brand, shop\/establishment or service, indicating their trade name and the airport(s) they operate in. Candidates may apply for several categories.<\/p><p>All airports in the Aena network may participate in the Enjoy Aena Best Airport Award category by duly meeting the candidate requirements by the indicated deadlines.<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Categories<\/strong><\/p><p>A total of 11 awards will be handed out at the 3rd Enjoy Aena Awards:<\/p><ul><li class=\"translation-block\">8 travel retail awards, which will recognise the excellence of the brands operating in the Aena network.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\">1 travel influencer award, which will recognise the top content creator who brings visibility and value to the airport sector.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\">1 award for the top three Aena airports with the best retail offering and passenger experience in each category.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\">1 honorary award for an individual, brand or company outside the Aena network.<\/li><\/ul><p>All the categories are defined below.<\/p><ol><li><strong>ENJOY AENA PLACE TO BE AWARD<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Rewards excellence in service, commitment and customer care from its <em>retailers<\/em>, in the development of a comprehensive space project within the airport network. The overall customer-focused business concept will be valued.<\/p><ol start=\"2\"><li><strong>ENJOY AENA BEST ESG AWARD<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Rewards excellence in sustainability commitment and corporate responsibility initiatives. Recognizes projects that actively and coherently integrate ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles into their daily operations.<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><ol start=\"3\"><li><strong>ENJOY AENA BEST MARKETING BOOST AWARD<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Rewards excellence in online or offline marketing strategy carried out by brands within their airport network. Particular value will be placed on the use of creative, agile and high-impact approaches, including guerrilla marketing, unconventional activations and innovative solutions capable of generating awareness with limited resources. Consideration will be given to the ability to surprise the traveller, originality in execution, connection with the airport environment, intelligent use of channels (digital or physical), as well as the impact and results achieved.<\/p><ol start=\"4\"><li><strong>ENJOY AENA BEST TRAVELLER'S SHOP AWARD<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Rewards excellence in offering and service directed at the specific and immediate needs of the traveller. Innovation and variety of travel products will be valued, as well as the incorporation of the latest trends to meet the demand of the different traveller segments at Aena, making it the most practical store in the airport.<\/p><ol start=\"5\"><li><strong>ENJOY AENA BEST ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN AWARD<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Rewards creativity adapted to airport formats. AENA will recognize both the brand and the advertising operator that has achieved the greatest impact with their campaigns in Aena airports between January 2025 and May 2026.<\/p><ol start=\"6\"><li><strong>ENJOY AENA BEST AIRPORT OF THE YEAR AWARD<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Premia al mejor aeropuerto de la red Aena por su conjunto de servicios y oferta comercial. Se valorar\u00e1n nuevas marcas, variedad, experiencia integral y satisfacci\u00f3n de los pasajeros. Los aeropuertos que deseen aplicar deber\u00e1n indicar a qu\u00e9 categor\u00eda se presentan (Categor\u00eda I. Tr\u00e1fico en 2025 superior a 12 millones de pasajeros; Categor\u00eda II. Tr\u00e1fico en 2025 inferior a 2 millones de pasajeros).<\/p><ol start=\"7\"><li><strong>ENJOY AENA BEST TRAVEL INFLUENCER AWARD<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Rewards the work of travel-specialized influencers whose content contributes visibility to the airport sector. The profile and content of their social media, creativity and style, number of followers, reach and engagement, brands they collaborate with, as well as organic content will be valued. <em>their reach <\/em>and <em>engagement<\/em>, the brands they work with, and their organic content.<\/p><ol start=\"8\"><li><strong>ENJOY AENA BEST MOBILITY EXPERIENCE AWARD<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p class=\"translation-block\">Category 1: Rewards the constant effort of car rental companies to offer passengers the best mobility experience at Aena airports. The quality of service, innovation in the booking, pick-up and return processes, and the differential value proposition within the airport environment will be valued.<\/p><p>Category 2: Rewards the constant effort of VTC companies to offer passengers the best mobility experience at Aena airports. The quality of service, the passenger experience from booking to destination, and the differential value proposition compared to other mobility options will be valued.<\/p><ol start=\"9\"><li><strong>ENJOY AENA AWARD BEST HOSPITALITY<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>This category recognizes excellence in the services and experiences offered within the VIP Lounges of Aena's airport network that are managed directly by Aena, highlighting the quality of the experience passengers enjoy before their flight. The award recognizes both the Aena VIP Lounge and the managing company responsible for its operation, underscoring the collaboration between both parties in creating a distinctive hospitality proposition.<\/p><p>Special consideration will be given to proposals that deliver a memorable experience based on customer care, service personalization, comfort, innovation and operational efficiency.<\/p><ol start=\"10\"><li><strong>ENJOY AENA AWARD JUST LANDED<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>This category rewards the best new brand or space incorporated into the Aena airport network, between January 2025 and May 2026, that has made a differential contribution to the travel retail ecosystem. It recognizes those proposals that stand out for their innovative character, their ability to generate impact on the passenger and their alignment with new consumer trends and travel experience.<\/p><ol start=\"11\"><li><strong>ENJOY AENA HONORARY AWARD<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>This category recognizes the outstanding contributions of individuals, projects, or companies outside the network.<\/p><p><strong>The award<\/strong><\/p><p>The winners of the Enjoy Aena Awards will be announced during the Awards Gala.<\/p><p>The awards may not be exchanged for other prizes or their economic equivalent and will consist of:<\/p><ul><li>A statuette for the winners in each category, whose representatives may receive them in person at the Gala.<\/li><li>A seal of excellence awarded by Aena, which the winners can display in their physical and digital spaces, channels and social media for one year.<\/li><\/ul><p>By accepting the prize, the winners expressly authorise Aena to publicise their status as winners, as well as the nominees of each category of the retail and airport awards, in the press and in Aena\u2019s marketing media and channels.<\/p><p>The nominees in travel retail categories 1-11 that are not selected as winners will also receive a seal of recognition from Aena, which they can display in their physical and digital spaces, channels and social media for one year.<\/p><p><strong>Jury<\/strong><\/p><p>The Jury of the Enjoy Aena Awards will consist of 10 independent members: 9 experts from various fields and 1 honorary chair.<\/p><p>Aena may make the Jury of the Enjoy Aena Awards public on all the company\u2019s channels and in the media as part of its communication strategy.<\/p><p>The Jury's will be charged with selecting the winners from among the nominees of categories 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. In the case of the Enjoy Aena Best Airport Award, the opinion of passengers will be taken into account.<\/p><p><strong>Submission of applications<\/strong><\/p><p>Aena has set up the landing page www.enjoyaenaawards.com for <em>retailers<\/em> , where they can download the application form for each category, which must be duly completed.<\/p><p>In addition, they may attach PDFs and PPTs (maximum 10 pages), videos and other graphic and\/or audiovisual materials (maximum 40 seconds in length) to support their application. Rendering is strictly prohibited. The size of attachments may not exceed 20MB. Any claimed merits must be 100% implemented in the shops of the Aena airport network at the time of the application. Airports wishing to apply should indicate which category they are applying for (Category I. Traffic in 2024 above 12 million passengers; Category II. Traffic in 2024 between 2 and 12 million; Category III. Traffic in 2024 of less than 2 million passengers), and submit all the attachments as indicated in the application form.<\/p><p>Brands must submit their applications before 11:59 p.m. on July 20, 2026. Each application must be submitted through the website. <a href=\"https:\/\/enjoyaenaawards.com\/en\/\">https:\/\/enjoyaenaawards.com<\/a><\/p><p>The Enjoy Aena Committee reserves the right to extend the deadline for submitting applications, which it will communicate accordingly through the website and its own channels.<\/p><p><strong>Legal terms<\/strong><\/p><p>Nothing in this document creates any business obligation on the part of Aena to any participant in these awards.<\/p><p>Aena may communicate the necessary instructions to modify the content of the Legal Terms and Conditions, notifying each and every one of the participants in writing, up to a maximum of five business days before the submission of applications.<\/p><p>Participation in the Enjoy Aena Awards implies full and unconditional acceptance of all of these Legal Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with these rules may result in the disqualification of the participant and the withdrawal of any prize awarded.<\/p><p>Aena will not be liable for any damage or losses that may arise from participating in the competition including, without limitation, technical problems, human error or any other type of incident that may affect the running of the competition. Aena reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the competition in the event of force majeure or for justified reasons affecting the normal running of the competition.<\/p><p>Applicants must bear any costs related to preparing and submitting their applications. They will also be liable for the consequences and costs arising from lack of knowledge or misinterpretation of these documents.<\/p><p>Las presentes Bases Legales han sido validadas y depositadas ante Notar\u00eda Ramos y Ortiz encontr\u00e1ndose a disposici\u00f3n de cualquier interesado, solicit\u00e1ndolas directamente a Aena.<\/p><p>Any communication, query and\/or question related to these Legal Terms and Conditions should be addressed to <a href=\"mailto:aena@enjoyaenaawards.com\">aena@enjoyaenaawards.com<\/a><\/p><p><strong>Fraud Prevention Clause<\/strong><\/p><p>Aena reserves the right to disqualify and exclude from the Enjoy Aena Awards competition any candidature in which indications of fraud, manipulation or any type of irregular conduct are detected that could affect the transparency and legitimacy of the selection and evaluation process for the awards.<\/p><p>Conduct considered as fraud includes, without limitation:<\/p><ul><li>Submitting false or manipulated information in the application.<\/li><li>Using materials or evidence that are not verifiable or not 100% implemented in the retail spaces of the Aena airport network.<\/li><li>Manipulating voting systems or any other evaluation mechanism.<\/li><li>Any attempt to unduly influence jurors or voters.<\/li><\/ul><p>If any of these behaviours are detected, Aena will immediately disqualify the candidate, reserving the right to take appropriate legal action and to publicly communicate the disqualification and the reasons for it.<\/p><p>Participation in the competition implies express acceptance of this clause by all participants.<\/p><p><strong>Data protection<\/strong><\/p><p>All participants are informed that the information and data they provide as part of their candidacy for these awards will be processed by Aena SME SA, as the organiser of these awards. The purpose is the management of these awards, with participation forming the legitimate basis for processing under Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation). The information provided will be accessible to those who manage these awards as well as to the members of the Jury, and may be reproduced, in part or in its entirety, at the awards ceremony.\u00a0<\/p><p>It should also be noted, as stated in these terms and conditions, that the gala will be filmed and may be published in the company's online media. By entering the competition, participants grant Aena a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and disseminate the submitted materials for promotional and communication purposes in connection with the Enjoy Aena Awards.<\/p><p><strong>Non-Disclosure Clause<\/strong><\/p><p>Aena and the participants agree to maintain the confidentiality of any information and documentation exchanged in connection with the Enjoy Aena Awards.
